Question 1

How do I install Filljitsu?

Accepted Answer

Open Filljitsu in the Chrome Web Store and click “Add to Chrome”. Then click the puzzle icon next to the address bar and pin Filljitsu so it's always at hand.

Question 2

How do I connect the extension to my account?

Accepted Answer

Click the Filljitsu icon and “Connect account”. Sign in on the website or create a free account, and the extension connects by itself. If it still shows the sign-in screen, open Extension settings in your dashboard and click “Connect extension”.

Question 3

How do I fill in my first form?

Accepted Answer

Open a page with a form and press Ctrl+Shift+Y (⌘⇧Y on a Mac), or click the Filljitsu icon and “Fill”. Review the answers and decide yourself whether to submit. You can practice on the practice form.

Question 4

How do I change the keyboard shortcut?

Accepted Answer

Type chrome://extensions/shortcuts in Chrome's address bar and set your own combination for Filljitsu.

Question 5

Can Filljitsu submit the form for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Filljitsu only types answers into the fields and stops. It never clicks buttons or presses Enter. You submit the form once you've checked the answers.

Question 6

What's the difference between Auto and Context mode?

Accepted Answer

Auto answers from the page, such as a job ad. Context (PRO) also uses your task note and files from your library, such as your CV, so the answers are about you.

Question 7

Why were some fields left empty?

Accepted Answer

AI doesn't guess details that aren't on the page or in your files. Filljitsu also deliberately skips password, card and one-time code fields, and consent checkboxes (terms, GDPR, newsletters). Consent is your decision.

Question 8

How do I undo a fill?

Accepted Answer

Click “Undo” in the extension window. The fields return to how they were. After a page reload, undo is no longer possible.

Question 9

Can I fill in only selected fields?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with PRO. Turn on “Only selected fields” in the extension window and tick the fields AI should fill. Filljitsu leaves the rest alone.

Question 10

Will Filljitsu overwrite fields that already have something in them?

Accepted Answer

Not by default. To replace them, turn on “Overwrite filled fields” in the extension or dashboard settings.

Question 11

What does “Type like a person” do?

Accepted Answer

Answers appear in the fields word by word, with pauses and the odd corrected letter. You set the speed (20 to 200 words per minute) in your dashboard, under Extension settings.

Question 12

Does Filljitsu work in applicant tracking systems embedded on company sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The extension also fills forms inside frames, such as recruitment systems embedded on a careers page, and takes the job ad on the page into account.

Question 13

Which pages doesn't the extension work on?

Accepted Answer

Chrome doesn't let extensions run on system pages (chrome://), in the Chrome Web Store or in files opened from your disk. Open the form on a regular website.

Question 14

How do I sign in with Google or GitHub?

Accepted Answer

On the sign-in page, click “Continue with Google” or “Continue with GitHub”. You can also connect sign-in methods in your dashboard, under Account.

Question 15

The code from the email didn't arrive. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Check your spam folder. After a moment you can resend the code. Make sure the email address has no typos.

Question 16

How do I change or reset my password?

Accepted Answer

When signed in, change it in your dashboard under Account. If you forgot it, click “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in page and set a new one with a code from your email.

Question 17

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

In your dashboard, under Account, click “Delete account” and type DELETE. We delete your account, library, styles and history, and cancel any active subscription. This can't be undone.

Question 18

How much is PRO and what does it include?

Accepted Answer

PRO costs $9.99 a month, or less with yearly billing. It gives you 1000 fills a month, Context mode, a file library, custom styles and field selection. The Free plan gives you 15 fills a month.

Question 19

How does the free trial work?

Accepted Answer

A new account can try PRO for 7 days without a card. If you don't add a card before the trial ends, your account goes back to Free. The trial is available once per account.

Question 20

How do I cancel PRO?

Accepted Answer

In your dashboard, under Subscription, click “Manage subscription and invoices”. PRO stays active until the end of the paid period, then your account returns to Free.

Question 21

Where can I find my invoices?

Accepted Answer

In your dashboard, under Subscription, in “Manage subscription and invoices”. Payments and invoices are handled by Stripe.

Question 22

What happens when I reach my fill limit?

Accepted Answer

Filling stops until the limit renews: at the start of the month on Free, and at the start of the next billing period on PRO. You can see the counter in the extension and in your dashboard.

Question 23

Do you store what I type into forms?

Accepted Answer

No. We never store form contents or generated answers. Your history only keeps the site's domain, the number of fields and the model used.

Question 24

What data is sent to AI?

Accepted Answer

Field labels, redacted page text (without sensitive data), and in Context mode also your task note and excerpts from your library files. AI writes the answers and they can contain mistakes, so you always review them.

Question 25

Does the extension read passwords or card numbers?

Accepted Answer

No. Password, card, CVV, one-time code and bank account fields are skipped: the extension neither reads nor fills them.

Question 26

What happens to the files in my library?

Accepted Answer

We extract the text in your browser and don't keep the original files. You can delete any file with one click in your dashboard.

Question 27

The extension says “I can't see a form here”.

Accepted Answer

Scroll to the form or wait until the page loads, then click “Check the page again”. Some forms only appear after you click a button on the page.

Question 28

The answers are weak or off-topic.

Accepted Answer

Fill in “About you and extra instructions” in your dashboard and choose a writing style. With PRO, describe the task in Context mode and add your CV or notes. The more specifics, the better the answers.

Question 29

I see “Too many attempts”.

Accepted Answer

The extension limits fills per minute and AI cost per day. Wait a moment and try again.

Question 30

The extension doesn't see my account after I sign in.

Accepted Answer

In your dashboard, open Extension settings and click “Connect extension”. If that doesn't help, sign the extension out in its Account view and connect it again.
